The idea of making the chair for our beloved daughter was originated a long time ago, but wanted
to make something special for her. She likes the old fairy tailes and beautiful cartoons about prince and princess very much, also, our love to rare mighty things - these pushed us to make this «von Einik family style»

WOODFINISH -- IS AN OLD FAMILY RECIPE, BASED ON THE NATURAL WAX, WITH NATURAL PIANTS AND MINERAL PIGMENTS. WOODFINISH IS PREPARING IN SEVERAL STEPS, WHAT YOU CAN SEE ON THE PHOTOS. ITS PREPARATION TECHNOLOGY VERY TIME-CONSUMING AND DIFFICULT TO PREPARE, ALSO THE PRODUCTION MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO SEQUENCE AND CAUTION. NEGLIGENCE IN ACTIONS TO MAKE THIS MIX COULD CAUSE A FIRE. PREPARATION TECHNIQUES OF THIS MIX COULD BE TEACHED ONLY IN PERSON.THE PROCESS OF MAKING THE CABINET IS SIMPLE, SO I DON'T SHOW IT. Hand carved guitar stand, made in rustic style. Stand made from red oak. natural woodfinish, beeswax. Hand forged metal, hand forged nails. Special care for guitar: There is soft leather on the small shelves (support for guitar’s bottom) mounted on the stand and on the stand’s legs; Pillow for guitar on the top of stand made from embossed leather, letters are monogram, made special for customer. I used the pine in the work, the chair’s chiselled legs - elements of the former stairs. Only hand
tools were used, I didn’t used electrical tools principly. in process of the work evaluation was making by the most important CUSTOMER - our daughter. Thanks God, CUSTOMER was happy with the siza and quality! The apparent roughness and
chips are very smooth to the touch and soft, so can to be quiet about the daughter’s safety. Woodfinish as always the family recipe, made from beeswax and natural pigments. Several stages of covering , it is shown
in the photo.

I was looking for some photos and saw this – very old, and remembered that long time ago saw rare architecture, sculptures and houses in Riga.I always liked how the tree with impression of the ages looks. It reminded me my childhood, when my grandfather was making different things in «old style». The more things changed, the more they stay the same – and in this time «old style» is very popular and it’s a very famous method. It really can be named «von Einik family style». Because I received all techniques, methods and recipes from my grandfather. And so far I didn’t see things such quality anywhere.I used cedar, because it’s better transmit the «smell of the ship». in the old ships cedar was used for furniture and things which are don’t have weight for the ship. I didn’t use the electrical tools, because I just very like such things and it’s shows better the structure of those times, what is very important for me.You can see the shavings on the photos which I had after the work – so you can see the carving method special for this tree. it’s specialty – not short, but long cutting.ONLY TWO SCREWS used in the ready frame – for the rope on which this picture will be held on the wall. Every screw which you see in the frame now – will be taken out then to put the wooden nails inside.when I was making this «Old Riga tavern Window» I was also giving the classes for teaching «von Einik family style» and made a lot of photos of my students work.
